Which turbo you think is better for a 2001 Tiburon (automatic):

1- Hyundai I4 Beta Extreme Turbo Kit

2- Hyundai I4 Beta Basic Turbo Kit

3- Hyundai Performance

==========

I already fixed the links so now they should work properly....

Personally I think all these turbos are good ,If you havea built motor, Because cause all of the turbos listed here are fairly decent sized turbos they arent really working to the full or even half the potential that they should be, these tubos are generaly used for running moderate boost IE 15psi or more and on a stock bottom end you can genarally run 7 to 10 psi max without getting detonation, and these turbos are also have more turbo lag than say a DSM 14b or T25 would have. So I say build your own kit with a DSM turbo and when the time comes to rebuild your motor because you fried your rings and the boost is shooting out your dipstik, then do the internals and upgade your turbo to something bigger,

look on dsm trader for a 14b or t25 if you are looking at building your own kit.
Just a few questions before you start building your kit, just wanting to know you are up to all the fabricating included in putting this kit together or if you would rather buy a kit, because it does take some bit of knowledge to get it all workng properly, are their any performance shops inyour area?

Scott, Hi iI have already done 1 turbo kit for a friend with a 98 Tib 2.0 and also have another buddy who has turboed his Elantra, and both work great but the one Idid runs a little better, just because it was put together a little nicer. Are you planning on building a kit or buying a whole kit let me know so I can further assist you.
