for a 2000 tiburon wich is better the mini ram air that comes stock..or the open airbox with a cone filter?

 

getting rid of all the stock ducting and replacing it with any air intake would be better. there are so many bends and differences in the stock ducting which disrupt air flow.
There are a few ways to go with this. the cheapest being getting rid of all the stock intake box and ducting and just putting a cone filter on the MAF, not what i would do but i have seen it done on many tiburons. The next step would just be getting a cheap ebay kit which would work just fine, some are just an intake pipe with a cone filter that stays in the engine bay, or they make a CAI(cold air intake) which routes itself infront of the front tire, behind the fog light which is the best way to go and what i have on mine.

now these are all the cheapest way to go,,if you want high end, find a k&n or aem site, you will spend from $150-$300
