Default Does Check Engine Light Reset Itself?

I have a 2007Hyundai tucson2.7 . P0133. The check engine light has turned off and on by itself several times. What is the problem?

There could be what's called a "pending" code. You still should get the computer scanned for the code to know for sure.

P0133 is a bad oxygen sensor. Get it replaced. Just because the light goes out doesn't mean the sensor is working correctly. It just means it's not giving a faulty reading at that particular time. Replace the sensor.

Thank you NovaResource for your response. I really appreciate the advice you have given me. I'll replace it if check light on with P0133 .
