Roof bars - Hyundai or Thule or Whispbar?
I've just seen the dealer supplied roofbars in the showroom, on a Santa Fe.
I'm signed up for a new Tucson in Jan (Premium SE) and I was wondering if the dealer/Hyundai bars were good, or whether Whispbar or Thule were better?
I want to leave them mounted all the time so they need to be aero style and quiet.
They also need to have clearance from the panoramic sunroof. The dealer/Hyundai bars had 20mm clearance at the closest point when the roof was opening, and that should be OK for clearing hasps and clamps on roofboxes.
Does anyone have the Hyundai bars (on any model) and how do you find them?
Cheers - Tim
PS I did notice the dealer bars were rated to the full roof load of 100kg but the Thule and Whispbars are limited IIRC to 75kg.
