The button that you push to open the top part (arm rest) of the center console broke in half. After I get the part ordered, can someone tell me how to replace the button or if I have to replace that whole top half of the arm rest?

I love, love! my Veracruz...these things just happen! Hopefully, it'll be covered under warranty, as the vehicle is only eight months old.
