When we got this 2005 XG350 back in August of last year it came with gold lettering on the trunk and a gold place in the grill. Recently someone backed into the front and lightly dented the grill and adjusted the hood. We had it replaced yesterday and the body man said he called Hyundai and they could not find anything like it. They claimed it didn't come out that way from the factory. Anyone else ever seen this? Was this just something someone had put on because they liked it? It looks stock. Thanks,Scott

 

The XG350 came in 2 styles, the base and "L". I believe the gold emblems were part of the "L" package. Search eBay for the emblems.

 

Check around dealers or independent shops for gold plating capability... we got machine and chemicals here.. Part Mgr does them when needed.

Local dealers should point you in general direction of somebody to do them.
