I have reviewed various posts on programming keyless fobs for other Hyundai models and understand that I need to access the ETACS unit, which controls the keyless. It seems the ETACS is located different places depending upon the model.

I already dropped the lower dash panel on both the driver and passenger side and didn't find anything that resembled the ETACS diagramed in one of the instructions.

Can you please advise where the ETACS is located on a 2001 XG 350 and also provide instructions how to access it. I have to presume it is somewhere in the center section of the dash, where the radio and HVAC control is located. This will probably require removal of the dash facia. Please advise technique.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.[/align]

2.Remove the lower crash pad panel.[/align]



3.Disconnect the connectors and remove the ETACS CM.[/align]
