Where can I buy Crankshaft Pulley for 01 xg300?
My crankshaft pulley is wobbling pretty bad.
I think i've bent the tip of crankshaft by overtighting the AC Belt...
[I read the spec wrong and increased the tension it until the tensioner bolt snaped around ~80ftlb ish on the tension adjusting bolt... should have been ~35ftlb]
but i'm praying that a new crankshaft pulley will solve the problem.
otherwise, i don't know what to do...
I've talked to the dealership and they want $190? something like that but i don't remember clearly. It was pretty high...
do you guys know a cheaper place to get 2001 hyundai XG300L's Crankshaft Pulley?
Thanks

You'd have to be Superman to bend the crankshaft or the pulley.
More likely that you didn't get the pulley centered on the locking key that it's supposed to gauge on. Happens all the time. Not a big deal. Just loosen it up and make sure it's "locked" in before you tighten it up.

my crankshaft pulley's key hole was pretty chewed up and i guess the key went into chewed up part so the pulley wasn't flush with the crankshaft sprocket.
being careful about the key, i re-adjusted the pulley and now wobble is gone.
thanks man.
