Default XGL 350 Check Engine light

I have a 2004 XGL 350 with about 82,000 miles on it. About a week ago, the check engine light came. No noticeable change in performance. I took it to a local mechanic who pulled two error codes off it: P1723 (transmission) and P0320 (ignition). Again, there's nothing that has changed in how the car runs. Yesterday, thelight wwent out for a bit, then back on.

Could this be a sensor/wiring issue rather than an actual problem with the trannie or ignition?

P1723 mean the automatic main control relay is stuck on. Check the relay usually locatde under the dash. See Hyundai Service Website for more info.

P0320 is an ignition speed input circuit and primary/secondary ignition coil circuit malfunction.

Default Repair cost?

That's great. Thanks. Two things: 1) What does the repair involve and 2) how much should I expect to pay to get it taken care of?
