Default 2011 Hyundai Tucson spark plug torque specification - anyone know it?

I'm going to change the spark plugs in my 2011 Hyundai Tucson, 2.4LT Engine. Does anyone happen to know the torque value on this model?

I never used torque specs when changing my spark plugs
It was always to turn them snug
Then turn it anywhere from 1/8 to 1/4 turn more

Also remember that if one uses lubrication or anti-seize that it will change the torque specs

I've found contradictory information. One place specified 15lbs another 22lbs. I just replaced mine in the 2012 Tucson (2.4L) I just purchased and used 22lbs. Replaced a lot of plugs in my life. It felt right.

Thanks for the feedback. I replaced mine using 1/4 past snug. Car idles slightly higher when cold and I notice a very slight hesitation at 3rd gear. I am getting better gas mileage but suspect I didn't get something quite right.

It's highly unlikely the hesitation has anything to do with your spark plug installation. I noticed mine has a slight hesitation when first accelerating in first gear. This improved, but did not disappear, when I changed my plugs. Also, it seems to clear up when I have it out on the highway for awhile. There is a Technical Service Bulletin (TBS) that was written up in 2013 for our model Tucson that calls out for cleaning of the Electric Throttle Body. It apparently can develop carbon build-up. I read in a different forum that someone had performed the service and it really increased the responsiveness of his 2012 GL. The TBS lists the procedure, and it appears pretty straight forward.

The TBS should be available from Hyundai. You can also find it in this forum here: Hyundai Forums : Hyundai Forum.
You will probably need to register, then navigate to the Tucson/ix35LM Model forum. The moderator is rockin'. He created a sticky thread right at the top with TBS's in them.
