Hi all. Just joined a couple of days ago. Bought an 07 Santa Fe w/ 3.3, 3 weeks ago. So far , I really like it. The only problem I have encountered is the sunglass holder. It gets very hot. Almost burned myself putting on the glasses. I have a little over 700 miles on it and am averaging 17.1 in town, which I am satisfied with. It usually takes about 2500 mi for a full break-in. Also, at 1000mi, I will be changing the oil, and replacing it with Amsoil Synthetic 0W20. That, along with a K&N filter should get me a couple more mpg. I traded in a 2000 GMC Yukon, so there was quite a difference in vehicles. I found it interesting that the sticker on the Santa Fe was less than half of the Yukon 8 years ago. I love tinkering, and am always looking for ways to improve mileage and performance. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate hearing from you. By for now.

Welcome to the forums. Your mileage should increase as the engine breaks in. It did for my Tiburon. The synthetic oil is also a good idea. I made the switch at 5,000 miles. Congrats and good luck with it.
