Hello,

I am new to Hyundai (as of Oct 5th). I traded in a 2005 Town and Country Minivan for a 2010 Elantra Touring(ET). I am really enjoying the new car and have been outfitting it to play just like my old van. I did give up towing but gained fuel economy.

The space in the ET is just big enough to for my old cargo liner to fit with the seats down. This is great because my bikes, scuba equipment and all of the toys will fit and that 3" lip will keep the mud, water and any other spills contained. I also added the crossbars to the factory roof rack for the surfboards, waveskis and kayaks.

When I am not outside playing or inside working, I work part time at a pizza place. That's where I am really enjoying this new car. The MPGs are much better than my old car and that translates to more $$ left over for toys!

 

Where did you get the crossrails from? Are they easy to install?

Very easy to install. 4 screws and it's on/off.
It looks like the roofrails that I picked up have been discontinued.
