Hey guys. First post since I bought my 2003 Elantra about 3 weeks ago. Picked it up for only a hundred bucks and have $12 into the title, also $25 in the book. The car is in decent shape. Has a shimmy in the front end, no radio, bad head gasket, and paint along with some clear coat is coming off the car. Other then that it seems to be a good car. The lady that had it received it with a new motor and the T-stat was never changed and it blew the head gasket. So im told anyways. Have yet to test the T-stat yet but I got it fired up just to make sure it wasnt blown again and pulled the head on it. Im about to post about the cylinder head in a lil while. Thanks to everyone in advance. I am glad to be here to talk about the newest car ive ever had. Its also the cheapest car I have ever had .

Bought a hatchback a couple of weeks ago and am happy with the mpg's thus far. Based on the built in trip info, we got 40.9 coming home from madison last week. We only have 575 miles on it so far. We traded in a 2006 xb, which got pretty good mileage itself.
