New Hyundai Accent owner in Tampa, FL
Hey y'all,
I just want to say hello to the forum folk here and introduce myself.
Just got an 2003 Red Hyundai Accent GL automatic, as a daily commuter.
It will be my commuter car from Tampa to Lakeland.
Was carpooling with a fellow who has an 2001 accent and liked it enough to get one.
(my retired ride was a 96 Neon with 169k Miles on it- RIP)
Looking forward to getting involved here with the forum.
(Miss the neonforum already, it wasa great place and lots of help)
Thanks,
Charlie Cacioppo

Neon to Accent: now there's a smart upgrade. Welcome and congrats.
Funny how things like that happen. I bought my 2004Tiburon because I liked the way they looked and because a goodfriend loved his 2002 Accent. Since then, I purchased a used 2003 Accent for my mother in law. Her sister liked the car so much that she went out anew 2005 Elantra and 2 years later a new 2007 Elantra.
Hyundai makes great cars now. If people would overlook the past and actually drive one, Hyundai wouldn't have the "low end" stigma its hadsince the 90's.
Best of luck with your Accent.

hahaha I was in Tampa back in July.
Went on a little vacation. I grew up on clearwater beach.
Back to topic.
Glad you like the new car, don't hesitate to chime in with any questions.
