Just purchased a new 2009 Santa Fe Limited in Powder White Paint with tan interior for my wife. She loves the car already! I thought from the start it was a very nice car and for the price, it is a bargin. Made a really good deal with the dealership and actually enjoyed the purchase experience. I did most of the negotiations though their web site for about a month before we actually met to close the deal. I bought a Hyundai Elantra back in 2002 and it was such great car for us with no break downs and needed little maintenance but for a clutch, brakes and one strut replacment in over 100,000 miles. My oldest daughter still drives it today and wouldn't think of getting rid of it. I do have one question about the Santa Fe, it has a moon roof but that is not mention anywhere on the option list. Is this part of the limited package? One more thing, where do i find accessories for the Santa Fe? I can't find any on the Hyundai web site. Looking forward to being a member of this forum; peace..love..dove.. and don't forget to throw the cat out. Just kidding, love cats but those fur ***** .

HA!! I wanted to use this thread title. I go back to 1986, the year Hyundai came to USA shores (though Canada had the Pony before that).

It was a choice between the Yugo the Excel and possibly Le Car (look it up). No comparison really, the Excel was WAY better in build quality than anything else in it's price range.
