Default Newbie - with a great result!

Guys - how many of you have had direct experience with the Hyundai 5 year warranty? I have on two occasions. The first was for a new diff on my Terracan (you experienced forumites will no doubt be familiar with this). It was fitted with no question or quibble with the latest version with correct oils and additives. A few days ago, I received a letter from the dealer (ES Jones) asking me to book in for my first anti-corrosion check-up. Whilst there, I had a little moan about the fact that the laquer was coming off my alloy wheels and they didn't look nice, the car is two years old. Service chap took digi pics of all 4 wheels and two days later, I received a call from ES Jones booking me in to replace all 4 alloy wheels. Hyundai had agreed to replace them totally free, on the warranty and without one word of question or quibble. Hats off to Hyundai - and I will definately buy another one.

OK - a question for the more experienced. How do I stop break dust and such like from damaging my new alloys? Thanks in advance.

Dave.

keeping the rims clean is simple. Be obsessed, buy a good wheel cleaner. Meguirs and Black Magic are great brands. Remeber also to clean them by hand, pressure washer are good, but they tend to leave behind some residue.
