Trying to decide if an extended warranty is worth it - 2005 XG350
Researching a 2005 XG350 with 59,500 miles on it and am more attracted to this car every day. My main concern if i decide to purchase is the sheer number of electronics on this vehicle.
This will be my first car with the "bells and whistles"of climate control, integrated audio, heated mirrors, power seats, etc.
With all the electronics in this car I am tempted to purchase an extended warranty to cover any electrical issues on top of mechanical issues encountered.
My first time through this process though, so I figured I'd ask the advice of the knowledgeable members of this forum - would such a warranty be worth it? What are the "catch phrases" I should watch out for? Any suggestions on aftermarker warranty companies to consider?
Thanks in advance, a little overwhelmed at this point =D.
EDIT: A few more details to help: I plan to "drive until it drops", Primary use is to-work transport, distance to work is 65 miles each way, driven each workday (highway miles).
