lol good luck with that. you're going to need it.
parts: you don't get parts. you fabricate them. its a total custom job for that car.
what to do: lots and lots of research, i recommend the book Maximum Boost by Corky Bell. depending on how much boost you're after, heres a short list of your concerns with a custom turbo setup:
-turbo sizing. VERY important!
-custom exhaust manifold. hope you can weld.
-intercooling. where to put it and how much is enough?
-wastegate.
-blow off valve.
-emissions a concern where you are?
-electronics. may need some piggyback mods, or even a full standalone depending on your goals.
-fuel injectors: can the stock supply enough fuel? probably not i'll bet.
-fuel pump. same deal.
-fuel regulator. same.
that list is not complete by any means. also keep in mind, that the excel was the dark ages for hyundai - they are not known for their reliability. they will likely not take too kindly to boost! also, this is an old engine making the problem more of a concern. i think that even with proper tuning its very possible you could end up with engine damage from this project and even still not be able to boost it to anything worthwhile.
if the car itself is in good shape, maybe look into putting in a 1.8L beta engine from an elantra or tibberaun? its a much better designed engine and will take good boost.
