Default '97 Excel Heater Problem

Greetings

We have a 1997 Hyundai Excel that has lately developed a cabin heating problem. The panel control **** makes absolutely no difference to the temperature of the air, which is always cold. This was not a problem over the Australian summer but as we are now in Winter things are a little more urgent!!

I am assuming that as with most vehicles the warm air is supplied via the engine cooling system. This is working fine otherwise and there are no problems with coolant levels.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

David

Sometimes the control **** breaks. Check to see if this is the problem.
If not then look at the linkage from the control **** going to the heater hose valve is working.
