hyundai excel headlight assembly
Does anyone know how to get the headlight assembly out of an excel.
there are two 10mm top bolts and a screw that are out but it seems to be attached behind the indicator assembly.
I am at the point of using a percussive persuider.
do i have to take the bumper or the guard inner off?
thanks in advance

thank you for your help.
12 hour shifts mean i don't get to the computer for days at a time
i must apologise for not putting in the year its a 1999
in the end the indicator assembly is held by 2 locator pins and a push pin for want of a better word.
It's just a pull and pray and out it comes
once again thanks for your help

There is no 1999 Excel. The first generation Excel was made from 1986-1989 and the second generation was made from 1990-1994 (with the exception of the Philippines where it was made until 1998).
Are you sure you have an Excel and not an Elantra or an Accent?

this is an australian vehicle if that makes any difference
1999, HYUNDAI EXCEL, Adelaide, Dealer Used, $49,990 at carsguide.com.au
this is the same as the car that is parked in my drive way
don't look too hard at the price the seller obviously does not proofread
thanks
