Default plump tires?

so i'm currently running 215/50/17's and i'm tired of the harsh ride.

i replaced my stock 205/60/16's with similar 215/55/16's blizzaks for the winter, but i'm looking to improve the ride as much as possible come next spring.

would there be any issues with going up to a 215/65/16 or even a 215/70/16? tire rub, etc?

i figure the taller the sidewall (it might look goofy but i dont care) would give me a plush ride. i've had kuhmo kh16's before and they ride like a cloud, but only with a tall sidewall.

review: looking for any reason not to get a fatty 215/70/16. thanks!

the 215/65/16's will be slightly less than an inch taller than the stock size tires i'm running now, and upon inspection, the only thing close to the tire when it cycles is the upper rear suspension arm, at 1.8 inches or so off the top of the tire..

Both 215/65-16 or even a 215/70-16 are way too big. Stick with the stock tire size of 205/60-16 or 215/60-16.

yes they are big but WHY are they "way to big", will they rub suspension pieces?
